Blog Candy - Part Two

I recently won some gorgeous blog candy from Gayle over at Little Bird Designs, this was 'candy' with a difference as Gayle set everyone a challenge by sending out each person the same goodies, and now for the 2nd part.........make a card etc of your choice with the components. Here is my entry for the 2nd part of the draw!!! I used a combination of mica powders & sakura glaze pens with my waterbrush to colour Tildas dress, boots & socks & watercolour pencils for her hair.
Hope you like her!! TFL, all comments welcome.
Sorry my flash didn't work, please click on image for larger view - thanks xx

My first attempt at stamping on a candle

Some of my crafty friends have made & displayed lovely candles which they had stamped onto - so I just had to give it a try!!! I thought I'd use my new Tilda stamp and a cream candle bought from Asda. I followed the instructions on the Splitcoaststampers tutorial, by stamping Tilda onto white tissue paper, then I coloured her with my Sharpie markers, cut her out & placed the image onto the candle, then covered with greaseproof paper & used my heat gun...........and was thrilled to see the image transferred onto the candle. I then re-stamped Tilda & followed the same process.
I'm quite pleased with my 1st attempt & hopefully I'll get better!!! I have a feeling these may prove popular at Christmas - What do you think?? All comments appreciated. Thanks xx

Tilda at Easter (Rainbow Lady's Challenge)

This is another quick card which I made as a RAK Easter card for a forum friend. Once again I started off with plain white card & covered it with a lovely blue starry handmade paper - I attached it to the card with mini brads. Then I coloured my stamped image of Tilda with her daffodil with sakura glaze & souffle pens, I cut her out & matted her onto gold mirri card with 3d foam then placed the complete mat onto my card. Placed an insert inside with a silver peel off to complete the inside. On the top of the card I positioned an Easter greeting.

Tilda & Co.......Wishing Y ou Well

This is my 1st attempt at a challenge set by the lovely ladies at Tilda & Co. My entry is once again using a stamped image provided by my friend Andrea, which I coloured with Sakura souffle pens, then matted the image onto lilac pearlised card & attached a ribbon to the top of matt. I also attached a prima flower with a brad & gold Get Well Soon sticker in the opposite corner from the prima flower. Thanks for reading - all comments appreciated.
