One Stamp.........Two projects

WOW.......two postings in one day - I'm really on a roll :D
Actually I have been busy playing in my Craft cupboard, but just couldn't blog anything, so now I have lot's to share with you!!! The stamp in question is from Stampers Anonymous, Pattern Pieces & one I've been searcing for, so when I got my grubby mitts on it Icouldn't wait to have a play!!!

Above is a canvas with the stamped image, some lace which I coloured with my distress inks, and some Websters antique buttons & a Lord Tim of Holtz word stick.......which is actually glittered with stickles but it doesn't show up very good. I then went onto make a card to accompany the canvas, as I wanted to say a very big thank you to a special friend of mine.

Another First.......and it involves a canvas!!!

I finally gave in & attempted some rubber stamping onto a canvas - not the easiest thing in the world - well for me anyway, that is!!! The canvas is approx 5" x 5", I used my Broken china distress ink to make a base, then shaded in adirondack stream ink. Next I stamped 'Friendship' quote by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous in black stazon & at opposite corners added a Heidi Grace Flourish stamp, again in black stazon. Some blooms secured with a brad finished it off!!
Minxy - Hope you're happy now, I've done a canvas!!!! Hopefully this will count as an entry for the challenge on the lots To Do Challenge blog too!!
