The Sunday Stanpers - Friends

I'm a bit late with this I know - as Hels will be setting a new challenge, but better late than never!!! I decided to have another try at a candle using the theme Friendship as set by Hels, I stamped the lovely friendship quote from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous & then added a gorgeous ickle butterfly which comes from a brand new range of stamps designed by my lovely friend Helen Sheridan - Stitchels, Dotty Dot Set & they're available soon (next month, I think) from The Artistic Stamper. They're the first in a series I hope!!! - as I love them & will show more in the coming week!!! Hope you like my candle & Hels gorgeous stamps. TFL - All comments appreciated.

Sunday Stampers - Sisters

This may be considered a bit of a cheat, but I've not done any SS challenges for weeks now as I've not had appropriate stamps.......I improvised, I added a vellum saying SISTERS!!! The stamp is from Tanda stamps & papers & embellishment from Kate Knight 'Hint of Pink' collection. I used sakura glaze pens to add colour to stamp & edged my card with deep red chalk ink from colourbox.
I hope you like it!! (click on image for clearer view)

The Sunday Stampers - Week 9

As it's Linda's Birthday this week Hels asked Linda to set the challenge & what a fab challenge it was- add a hat to any image.........Had to be Mona didn't it!!! I know Hels used Mona as her example but I think I've put a slightly different edge on it, and as I'm seeing Gothic Arches almost everywhere I had a slight angle on them too........a girl has to be different, don't you think??
So here we have it Queen Mona - complete with crown/hat LOL!!! Happy Birthday Linda!!!!!
Hope you likeee. Click on image for closer view

Sunday Stampers - I'm a Laydeeeee

For this challenge Hels asked everyone to use a 'Laydeeee' image, I've used a lovely stamped image sent to me by a friend who just recently got some fab new stamps, I edged the stamp with gold krylon pen, the attached onto a black card, simply made from A4 card halved, with a gold shimmer matt on the left hand side, I finished off by adding two corner peel -offs.

The Sunday Stampers - Week 7

This weeks challenge is Turning Japanese.....cue for a song? An Oriental theme!! Once again I decided to make a fat book page, the stamp I've used is from a set of four which I bought from Ideal World about 18 months ago, I used a dark blue ink then embossed with dark blue powder, cut out the image & mounted on my page which was made using Adirnondack stained glass ink pad & finished off by edging with a silver Krylon pen.

Sunday Stampers Week 6

This weeks' challenge is Man Oh Man.......so the idea is to incorporate Man/Men in your project.
This week I chose to make a fatbook page which is 4"x4", the stamp I've used is from The Artistic Stamper - Hope you like it - I'm quite pleased with my effort!!!

The Sunday Stampers - Week 5 - Time

This week's theme for The Sunday Stampers is Time, once again I decided to make a tag as I really do enjoy messing about with my inks & getting messy!! I used a fob watch stamp from The Artistic Stamper, and also a stamp from a qvc kit, the inks I used were my favourites at the moment, Adirondack Butterscotch & Cabin Fever. I finished the tag with fibres & sanded down the sides.

The Sunday Stampers - Week 4 - BIRDS

This week for the Sunday Stampers Challenge, Hels has set the task of 'Watch the Birdy' .
This is my first ever attempt at joining a challenge site......thinking cap on & rummage through my stash, and out came my Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz Nature's Moments stamps. I decided to make a tag, as they're quick & easy to do & I love them!!! So taking an average cream coloured luggage label, I inked on my craft sheet, with Broken China & faded Jeans Distress inks sprizted with water & applied tag-blasted with heat gun to dry, then blended in Cabin Fever & Butterscotch Adirndack inks. Once I'd dried the tag, I stamped my bird stamp onto my tag & embossed with Heat It Up dark blue powder. I sanded down the sides of the tag with an old nail file to give it a more distressed look, added some fibres et voila...........My 1st completed challenge!!!!
