Card Swap

This is a card I made for a swap I'm taking part in, the card had to be made using patterned paper, with stamped image & a handmade flower. The papers I've used are Hot Off the Press & Brenda Pinnick, I also added some flocked swirls in blue, and the stamped image is one of Sugar Nellie's Gorjuss Girls range, which I just adore!!
I hope you like my effort & will leave your comments for me, as it's been quite some time since I've managed to blog anything, due to family problems...................I'm hoping this will be my return to crafting & blogging!!!
(Click on image for a clearer view please)

Thanks to all my lovely friends for your various good wishes, cards & thoughts for Jamie & myself!! Hugs to all of you!!

And I do hope you'll return for a visit & leave some comments for me too. Please see below for a few of my cards & ickle pocket.

Birthday Card

This is a little Birthday card I made for a friend who's favourite colour is black!! I used Hot Off The Press papers, made up a little glassine envelope & stamped Happy Birthday & corner stamps to embellish the envelope. I made a little tag in coordinating black & red to fit inside the mini envelope, then embellished the lattice design with some glitter just to liven it up a bit!! I hope she likes it :-0)). Thanks for looking (please click on image for a clearer view)

The Sunday Stampers Challenge

This is a bit of a last minute entry, but I really want to keep up with some of those fabulous challenge sites out there, and The Sunday Stampers is definately one of those!!! This week Hels set the theme of black & gold and here is my entry using one of my most favourite stamp, which I got in a sale, but I'm not sure where from - ring a bell with anyone?? LOL!!. I made an ickle ATC using black sugar paper as a background & stamped my image with versamark & embossed with gold powder , edged with gold Krylon pen - there you have it!! Thanks for looking - all comments welcome!! (click on image for clearer view)

Object D'Art Challenge/Lots to Do Challenge

It seems like a lifetime since I took part in any challenges, so what better way to start the year by combining two challenges in one?? Jennie has set a Tag challenge on the Object D'Art Challenge Site (click on sidebar) and Hilda on Lots To Do has set the theme of Time............so there we have it, a tag with Time as the theme!! The stamp used & highlighted with glossy accents is available from Jennie at The Artistic Stamper. I'd love your comments & please click on the image for a closer view. Thanks for looking!!

Altered Clipboard

I hope everyone had a lovely time over Christmas & New Year holidays, for me it was very quiet & time spent with my family, just the way I like it!! However my dear aunt was taken into hospital with a very bad chest infection, and that's the main reason I haven't been around, however as she's home now & beginning to look a bit brighter I thought it was time to get some crafting done!!!
An as usual, I decided to do some 'altering', although I listed this as a Clipboard, it's really a Bingo board I picked up in the pound shop!! I hope you like what I've done with it!!
All comments appreciated & thanks for looking!!! (click on image for a clearer view)

Christmas Cards with Fat Book Pages as Toppers

The Madonna & Child image is a stamp designed by Linda Luckin, which I embossed & then added stickles glitter to the halo, the fb page is edged with my gold Krylon pen & attached to the card with photo corners, with a bit of glitter added too!! My pearl card I ran through the cuttlebug to provide the background & added a bit of sparkle too - Not too sure if it shows up very good though?? The papers on the other card were from my stash left over from last year & I think they were from the Dovecraft Designers Blues pack!! (click on the images for a clearer view)

Here are some Christmas cards I've made for the Paper Dolls group of ladies who get together to swap & exchange various challenges each month. The idea of the of cards were to incorporate a detatchable fat book page, which can then be made into a Christmas Fat book, as there are 20 ladies in the Paper Dolls group!! Thanks for looking & I love reading your comments too.

Thinking Of You

I made this card for a friend who is recovering from surgery & is now on the mend - I hope!!
I got some new punches recently, one of which is a Fiskars Threading punch, so this was the perfect opportunity for me to have a play with it! I used a square card, then mounted DCWV rik-rak card onto it, then my next mat was with my new punch , added some grosgrain ribbon & my final stamped image - which is a stamp I got just recently too. Hope you like this - thanks for looking!!

You can get your mits on Hels lovely stamps from Jennie at The Artistic Stamper, as well as some gorgeous flourish stamps by Jennie herself!! The link can be found in my side bar. Thanks for looking & hope you like my card!!
